Céline Trunk Show Fall 2011

Not since Phoebe Philo reined the House of Chloé have we seen women speed dialing their sales associates at Neiman Marcus and Saks to get their hands on the very coveted and very sold out Paddington. Does anyone remember the insane weight of the lock + handbag combination? (Chloé later on revived the Paddington, pushing it into mass production as a permanent collection. The paddington is still currently readily available in major luxury department stores and online.) Last season, fashion girls everywhere were clicking the refresh button on Mulberry’s web store for the glimmer of hope that one of the many variations of Alexa would magically become available, signing up for email notification should one of these beauties is back in stock. At fashion week for Spring 2011 in the fall, the newest arm candy on the style makers and fashion insiders was the beautiful constructed Céline luggage tote. From luscious leather to exotic skin in basic colors and hues of the rainbow, the Céline luggage is lust-worthy.

Céline trunk show for Fall 2011 at Barneys happened on Monday here in San Francisco. Fabulous handbags, shoes, and ready-to-wear including the coveted Luggage lined the table on third floor. Order will begin to ship in June for the fall collection. Can't wait that long? Spring 2011 is arriving at the stores as we speak.

Grilled Pork Chop with Truffled Risotto

We try to always brine our pork chops but because of last minute decision to grilled up some chops, these were only brined for 45 minutes. Not bad but could have achieved its optimal potentials if brined overnight. And the truffled risotto, Eric's speciality.

We picked up some smoked salmon from the Crocker Gallery Thursday Farmer's Market, perfect with some crème fraîche for a blini brunch.

Hoisin Glazed Steak with Asparagus

Pulled this recipe off the Epicurious iPhone app. Was surprised how the hoisin glaze gave just the slightest hint of sweetness.

Roasted Chicken with Ratatouille

It's difficult to always do something clever with chicken to make it less mundane. I love it with a little bit of zesty ratatouille.
